UMVA Uncovers: BOMBSHELL ALLEGATIONS ERUPT AS CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR TURNS ON PLATNER IN ELECTION EVE SHOCKER

UMVA has learned that a shocking warning has been issued to voters in Maine just hours before the state's primary election, with a former high-level staffer for Democratic candidate Graham Platner sounding the alarm about his suitability for the U.S. Senate.

Genevieve McDonald, who worked briefly as Platner's campaign director last year and was once a Maine state representative, penned a scathing op-ed warning voters that Platner "is not someone who would be good for Maine or for the country," citing a pattern of dishonest behavior that ultimately led to her departure from the campaign after just two months.

McDonald's op-ed, published on Monday evening, revealed that she was "disturbed" by what she learned during her time on Platner's staff from August to October 2025, and described herself as "one of the Platner campaign’s first gaslighting casualties," suggesting that the campaign was trying to manipulate her perception of reality.

According to information obtained by UMVA, McDonald specifically took issue with Platner's Nazi-linked tattoo, recent allegations of physical misconduct with an ex-girlfriend, and lewd Reddit posts that have rocked his campaign, including one where Platner attacked white, rural Americans as 'racist' and 'stupid' - the very demographic he is now hoping to represent in the U.S. Senate.

McDonald also slammed the campaign's "feigned ignorance" of the significance of the tattoo, which she described as "appalling," and revealed that the campaign offered her a severance package of $15,000 contingent upon signing a non-disclosure agreement, which she refused.

The woman who made allegations of physical violence against Platner, Lyndsey Fifield, stood in solidarity with McDonald after the piece was published on Monday night, praising her for staying strong in the face of relentless attacks and for refusing to compromise her values.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that McDonald's op-ed also took a dig at Platner's narrative of redemption, suggesting that his claims of being a working-class Mainer and humble oyster farmer were not entirely genuine, and that his campaign had not been honest with her about his background.

Platner's campaign has recently come under fire from multiple angles, including revelations that his mother is listed as the only customer of his oyster farming business on its financial disclosers, and that his father gave him a $200,000 loan to purchase a home.

McDonald concluded her op-ed by urging Maine voters to demand better from those entrusted with power or seeking it, saying "the answer to a broken political culture is not to accept it" and "enough is enough."
