A wave of new travel possibilities is unfolding as Breeze announces a significant expansion of its route network. Eleven new routes will connect travelers to coveted destinations, promising sun-soaked escapes and unforgettable adventures.
This latest move includes a landmark first for the airline: service to the breathtaking island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Beyond this exciting debut, Breeze is dramatically increasing access to Mexico and the Caribbean, with multiple new routes to Cancun and Punta Cana.
Starting January 8th, Columbus, Ohio will gain seasonal access to the pristine beaches of Punta Cana, with flights operating twice weekly. Simultaneously, Pittsburgh will become a hub for Caribbean getaways, offering three weekly flights to both Cancun and Punta Cana.
Pittsburgh travelers will also benefit from a new seasonal route to Vero Beach, Florida, launching October 1st with three flights per week. Richmond, Virginia is set to experience its first-ever nonstop service to Cancun, beginning January 8th, also operating twice weekly.
Tampa, Florida, will see increased connectivity with twice-weekly flights to Cancun starting December 19th. Adding to the excitement, Tampa will also gain a direct link to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, launching December 16th with the same frequency.
Pittsburgh emerges as a major beneficiary of this expansion, securing three new routes and positioning itself as a key gateway to warmer climates. The airline will directly compete with established carriers on these popular routes to Cancun and the Dominican Republic.
Breeze, launched in 2021, offers a unique travel experience. While known for its competitive base fares, passengers have the option to elevate their journey with the airline’s premium “Nicest” fares, featuring comfortable, fully-reclining first-class seating.
These new routes represent a significant investment in connecting communities and providing travelers with more choices for their next vacation. The expansion promises to bring the allure of the Caribbean and Mexico closer than ever before.
