Wonderland UNLEASHED: Chaos, Thrills & New Rules Incoming!

Wonderland UNLEASHED: Chaos, Thrills & New Rules Incoming!

A familiar thrill is returning to Canada’s Wonderland. The park will open its gates on May 3rd, signaling the arrival of warmer days and the debut of a revitalized classic: The DareDeviler.

This isn’t just a repaint; it’s a rebirth. Originally launched in 1995 as Top Gun, and later known as Flight Deck, the inverted coaster has been meticulously reimagined to fit the spirit of the Grande World Expo area.

Prepare to experience early aviation like never before. The DareDeviler promises a smoother, more immersive ride with refined track work and entirely new trains, featuring improved seating and an open, vest-style restraint system designed for maximum comfort and exhilaration.

But the thrills don’t stop there. AlpenFury, the record-breaking launch coaster that captivated guests last year, returns as Canada’s longest, tallest, and fastest, boasting an astounding nine inversions – a world record for launch coasters.

The park is also enhancing the overall guest experience beyond the coasters. Brew & BBQ will return in June, alongside three captivating live shows showcasing cirque artistry, acrobatics, and musical performances.

Satisfying sweet cravings will be easier than ever with the reimagined Sweet Spot, formerly the Sweet Shoppe. This flagship candy store now features a delightful assortment of handcrafted treats.

New culinary creations are also on the menu, including the Choco Crispy Bites Funnel Cake – a decadent masterpiece layered with marshmallow cream, chocolate clusters, vanilla soft-serve, and a generous drizzle of warm chocolate.

A new policy is being implemented this season to prioritize guest safety and enjoyment. Beginning May 1st, all guests 15 years old or younger will require a chaperone at least 21 years old, particularly after 4 p.m. daily.

This chaperone policy allows one adult to accompany a maximum of ten guests under 15, and is a direct response to concerns raised by York Police through Operation Beehave, aimed at curbing incidents involving unsupervised teens both inside and outside the park.

The goal is simple: to ensure a safe and memorable experience for everyone, allowing guests of all ages to fully enjoy the excitement and entertainment Canada’s Wonderland has to offer.
