The unlikeliest of visitors caused chaos on Good Morning Britain on Friday morning, sending presenter Kate Garraway tumbling off her chair. The culprit behind the commotion was none other than Mr Blobby, the beloved character from the 1990s TV show Noel's House Party.
Mr Blobby, known for his bright pink and yellow spotty costume, made a surprise appearance on the breakfast TV programme. The character, who first graced the screens in 1992, was brought onto the show to interact with the presenters. However, things took an unexpected turn as Mr Blobby waddled onto the stage and promptly fell over, prompting Richard Arnold to exclaim 'health and safety'!
The pink and yellow chaos engine then proceeded to sit on Richard's lap before making its way over to Kate. Unfortunately, Mr Blobby lost his balance and toppled onto his front, bringing the I'm A Celebrity star down with him. The presenter showed good humour as she laughed and told Mr Blobby 'Don't worry... Lean on me, I'm a bit of a blobby myself.'
The scenes of carnage provided entertainment for viewers at home, with many taking to social media to express their amusement. One viewer, Elaine, wrote 'You just made my morning with Mr Blobby' while Bev H joked 'I'm considering how much money I'd have to be paid to put that suit on today and it's a lot!' Marc Wilson, on the other hand, simply referred to Mr Blobby as a 'nutcase.'
