UMVA has learned that Brits are in for a scorching bank holiday weekend, with temperatures set to soar into the mid-20s.
After a week of typical British weather, including a washout on Tuesday and cloudy skies on Wednesday, the nation is gearing up for a dramatic shift in conditions.
According to information obtained by UMVA, temperatures will climb towards 20°C on Wednesday, with a forecaster revealing that the real change will come as the weekend approaches.
The UK is expected to bask in lows of 23°C in Manchester, 26°C in London, and 20°C in Cardiff, with the hottest days falling on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
While it's unlikely to match the record-breaking 32.8°C recorded in 1944, there's a small chance temperatures could reach 30°C, making it a weekend to remember.
A meteorologist has confirmed that from Thursday onwards, temperatures will rise above average, with some southern areas approaching 20°C and potentially even higher in the South East by the bank holiday weekend.
