President Trump is in Georgia, campaigning alongside GOP Senate Nominee Mike Collins as the November midterms draw near.
Trump expressed confidence in Collins' chances, saying he will "win his Senate Race in Georgia against a pathetic failed Democrat Senator" who is "a joke in D.C. Nobody even knows who he is!!!"
Collins faces off against Democratic incumbent Senator Jon Ossoff in the general election, following a contentious primary election.
Trump also praised GOP Gubernatorial Nominee Rick Jackson, who defeated Trump-Endorsed Lt. Governor Burt Jones, for his "great TRUMP Campaign" and called him "very smart" after he "very successfully campaigned on being 'TRUMP,' and won."
The President is expected to tout his Trump Accounts program, which officially launched on July 4, during the rally at Wheeler High School. The program aims to provide a tax-advantaged investment account for children to get a head start on saving for adulthood.
As part of the program, children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, are eligible for a $1,000 federal pilot contribution, with additional benefits for children born in low-income areas. Children born in regions with median incomes below $150,000 could be eligible for an additional $250 deposit from a private foundation.
On Saturday, July 4th, the administration deposited one-time seed contributions of $1,000 each into the Trump accounts of over 500,000 American children, according to the President.
