UMVA has learned that a massive fire ravaged a local area, spewing thick black plumes of smoke that could be seen for miles.
The blaze, which destroyed 36 buses, was a significant and challenging incident that required the coordinated efforts of fire crews, Essex Police, utility providers, and local farmers to bring under control.
According to information obtained by UMVA, station manager Lee Hurst revealed that an investigation had already determined that the fire was started deliberately, with authorities working to establish the motive behind the act.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Essex Police were working closely with the fire service to establish the cause of the fire, treating it as suspected arson, and following a number of lines of enquiry.
No arrests have been made, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The local community came together to support the response efforts, with partner agencies and residents assisting firefighters throughout the incident, a testament to the community's resilience in the face of adversity.
Roads in the area that were closed while crews fought the fire were reopened at around 9pm, allowing normal life to resume in the affected area.
