Nicola Peltz Departs from Charity After Reported Disagreement Over Support

A high-profile rift has emerged between Nicola Peltz and her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, with Nicola reportedly parting ways with a charity co-owned with her husband Brooklyn.

Yogi's House, a non-profit dog rescue and rehabilitation centre in Los Angeles, was founded in 2022. However, Nicola's name has been removed from the organisation's website, and she appears to have unfollowed the foundation on social media.

The development comes amid ongoing tensions between the Peltz-Beckham family and the Beckhams. Brooklyn has spoken publicly about his family's controlling behaviour, accusing his parents of trying to ruin his relationship with Nicola.

Brooklyn's statement, released in January, detailed a series of alleged incidents, including his mother cancelling Nicola's wedding dress and pressuring him to sign away his name rights. He also claimed that his family values public promotion and endorsements above all else.

The Beckhams' refusal to support a GoFundMe page set up during the Los Angeles fires, which Nicola's wife had asked for, was cited by Brooklyn as a key reason for their decision to go no-contact with the family.

Nicola has not publicly commented on the situation. However, a spokesperson for the actress stated that she is "humbled by the work Yogi's House does to support dog welfare in California" and is currently considering other opportunities to support dog welfare.

The pair's relationship has been strained since a series of incidents, including Nicola dyeing her white Bolognese dog pink and orange, which sparked widespread criticism from animal welfare groups.

Nicola and Brooklyn have since launched legal action against a dog groomer who they claimed killed their chihuahua, Nala. However, the lawsuit was dropped earlier this year after all parties concluded that the death was not intentional.
