A three-year-old boy is now in a stable condition after being thrown into a crocodile pit while visiting a local attraction with his family.
The incident occurred at Johnsons of Old Hurst near Huntingdon, and the boy's condition has improved significantly, according to reports.
Cambridge University Hospitals, where the boy was treated, has launched an investigation into the breach of the victim's medical records, which occurred after the incident.
The hospital stated that they have strict policies in place to safeguard patient data and take any breach extremely seriously.
They have also referred themselves to the Information Commissioner's Office, as part of their response to the breach.
The suspect in the case was found unfit for interview and has been bailed until September 18.
A witness reported that the suspect has hearing difficulties and was accompanied by two carers who were allegedly distracted by their phones at the time of the incident.
A parent who was at the zoo at the time of the incident described seeing a man of a bigger build with two carers, who were not paying much attention to him.
The parent stated that the carers were English and were chatting among themselves and on their phones, approximately ten metres behind the suspect.
