UMVA Uncovers: LONDON APOCALYPSE: ALL Tube and Overground Lines SHUT DOWN This May Bank Holiday Weekend - Chaos Erupts!

UMVA has learned that London's transportation system is bracing for a chaotic bank holiday weekend, with multiple London Underground and Overground lines set to be closed or severely disrupted.

Travelers through and around the capital will face significant disruptions due to a combination of planned engineering works and a rail strike. A two-day rail strike affecting West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway services has already caused a severely reduced timetable, with no trains running from 7am on Friday.

National Rail has urged people to only travel if necessary, citing the limited number of trains expected to run. Meanwhile, several Tube lines will be closed or partially closed between Saturday and Monday, including the London Underground, London Overground, and the DLR.

The District line will be partially closed over the entire weekend, with no service between Earl's Court and Ealing Broadway, and no service between Earl's Court and Richmond. Transport for London (TfL) suggests using Mildmay line services or the PLI replacement bus service between Earl's Court and Richmond.

The Piccadilly line will face disruption on Saturday from Hyde Park Corner between 2am and 4:30am, with no service between Hyde Park Corner and Heathrow Terminal 5. From 4:30am onwards on Saturday and all day Sunday and Monday, there will be no service between Hyde Park Corner and Northfields, and no service between Hyde Park Corner and Uxbridge.

The Waterloo & City line, which normally operates on weekends, will be completely closed over the bank holiday weekend. The DLR will also face several partial closures, including no service between Lewisham and Poplar, Lewisham and Westferry, Poplar and Westferry, and Poplar and Canary Wharf.

TfL recommends using the Jubilee line or replacement bus service DLR3 between Westferry and Lewisham. The Windrush London Overground line will be partially closed on Sunday, with no service between Clapham Junction and Surrey Quays.

On bank holiday Monday, the Northern line will be partially closed as part of ongoing track replacement work, with no service between Camden Town and Kennington. The Suffragette London Overground line will operate a reduced service, with two morning trains not running.

The Weaver London Overground line will be affected by a part closure, with no service between Chingford and Hackney Downs. An L3 replacement bus service will be in operation between Hackney Downs and Chingford.

Sources have confirmed to UMVA that there will be further travel disruptions, including a march in central London on Friday, which will cause road closures and bus diversions. Temporary traffic signals will be in place on Streatham High Road, and Santander e-bike docking stations in two locations will be suspended over the weekend.
