Tropical Depression Haishen to exit PAR Tuesday, new LPA forms

Tropical Depression Haishen, locally known as Josie, is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Tuesday, as forecasted by the state weather bureau. The depression is anticipated to move northeastward within the next 12 hours, ultimately moving away from the country. It was last located 1,070 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon. The tropical depression has weakened from a tropical storm, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 55 kph.

Haishen is expected to further weaken into a low-pressure area within the next 12 hours due to unfavorable environmental conditions. As a result, it is less likely to directly affect the weather conditions of the country throughout the forecast period. The state weather bureau has assured that the tropical depression's impact on the country's weather will be minimal. The depression's exit from the Philippine Area of Responsibility is expected to occur by Tuesday afternoon or evening.

A new low-pressure area has developed inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, with a medium chance of developing into a tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours. As of the latest update, the low-pressure area was located 820 kilometers west of Extreme Northern Luzon. The state weather bureau has identified two possible scenarios for the low-pressure area's development, neither of which is expected to directly affect the country's weather conditions.

The low-pressure area may develop into a tropical storm, or it may move near Hong Kong, reducing the likelihood of developing into a tropical cyclone. In either case, the weather disturbance is not expected to have a significant impact on the country's weather. The state weather bureau continues to monitor the situation, providing updates on the low-pressure area's development and potential effects on the country.
