Comedians Joanne McNally and Richard Ayoade Reveal Long-standing Rivalry

The world of comedy panel shows is about to get a lot more interesting with the launch of "Unacceptable," a new show that brings together six comedians in a bid to ruffle feathers and challenge their audience.

Hosted by Ed Gamble and featuring a star-studded lineup, including Joanne McNally and Richard Ayoade, the show promises to be a satirical take on the world of cancel culture.

Each episode will see the comedians bring their most provocative opinions to the table in a bid to sway the studio audience and win the game.

But what makes "Unacceptable" stand out is its inclusive approach to rising comedians, with a focus on giving new talent a chance to shine.

Joanne McNally, one of the show's hosts, credits her own success in the comedy world to taking a different approach to her career.

"I remember Graham Norton said to me once, 'You don't do any telly. Is that your own choice, or lack of interest or lack of offers?' I wasn't doing TV, and I think in a way it's a good thing, because I went off and built my own little thing,'" she said.

With her own podcast, "My Therapist Ghosted Me," and a sold-out tour under her belt, McNally is now front and centre in the world of television.

Ed Gamble, the other host of the show, has also seen his star rise with the success of his podcast "Off Menu," which has welcomed Hollywood giants to its "dream restaurant."

Gamble believes that "Unacceptable" is a breath of fresh air in the world of panel shows, which can often feel serious and competitive.

"You definitely need some sort of experience with television, or experience on the circuit, and also to know people before you get into doing panel shows, because a three-hour studio record teaches you that if you throw something out early on and it doesn't get anything, it doesn't matter. You've just got to keep going."

With a star-studded lineup and an inclusive approach to rising comedians, "Unacceptable" is set to shake up the world of comedy panel shows.
