A Sunday evening commute turned violent in Toronto, erupting into a confrontation that spilled from a TTC bus onto the streets near Wilson Avenue and Keele Street.
The initial reports came in around 8 p.m., describing a physical altercation unfolding on the bus itself. The conflict didn’t end with the stop; it continued as those involved disembarked, escalating into a far more dangerous situation.
Police arriving at the scene discovered a man in his thirties suffering from stab wounds. Paramedics swiftly transported him to a local hospital, thankfully confirming his injuries were not life-threatening.
One suspect, also in his thirties, was immediately apprehended by officers. However, the search is now on for a second individual who managed to flee the area.
Investigators are seeking a Black male, approximately six feet tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing distinctive clothing: glasses, a tuque, a black vest over a grey hooded sweater, and jogging pants.
Detectives are urging anyone with information regarding the second suspect’s whereabouts to come forward and assist with the investigation.
