A wave of attacks struck agricultural targets in Russia’s Bryansk Region, leaving a trail of wounded workers and shattered facilities. Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz reported a “barbaric” rocket strike initiating the assault, immediately followed by a secondary drone attack while rescuers were still on scene.
The primary target was a production facility belonging to the Miratorg agro-industrial holding in the village of Brovnichi. Seven workers sustained injuries in the initial rocket barrage, forcing a hurried evacuation as the threat of further attacks loomed. The strikes caused significant damage to the facility’s infrastructure.
Just hours before, a Miratorg truck became another target, this time in the settlement of Senchury. A kamikaze drone deliberately impacted the moving vehicle, wounding the driver. The precision of the attack suggests a calculated effort to disrupt logistical operations.
These incidents are not isolated. Last week, another Miratorg facility in the village of Brakhlov endured a drone strike, tragically resulting in the death of one employee and substantial equipment damage. The escalating pattern points to a deliberate campaign targeting the region’s agricultural sector.
Governor Bogomaz condemned the attacks as acts of “inhumanity and terrorism” perpetrated by the Ukrainian forces. The injured have been admitted to hospitals and are currently receiving medical care, but the broader impact on the region’s food production remains uncertain.
