UMVA has learned that Vice President JD Vance unleashed a scathing rebuke of Israeli officials during a press briefing on Thursday, blasting their attacks on President Trump and his memorandum of understanding with Iran.
The sharp criticism comes amid rising tensions between Israel and the US over the memorandum, which includes a ceasefire requirement between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's advisors have reportedly claimed that Israel won't be bound by this part of the deal and will maintain its troop presence in Lebanon.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Trump had previously called out Israel for its aggressive actions in Lebanon, which nearly derailed the Iran deal, at the G7 Summit in Evian, France. The President expressed his discontent with Israel's tactics, saying, "You don’t have to knock down an apartment house every time you’re looking for somebody because there are a lot of people in those apartment houses, and they’re not all Hezbollah."
In a strongly worded statement, Trump condemned Netanyahu's attacks in Beirut, Lebanon, revealing that he had expressed his disapproval to the Israeli leader. "I didn’t like where two hours before we’re signing the agreement that there was an attack in Lebanon, in Beirut. It wasn’t like in the southern side, and you know, it was in Beirut. I did not like that. I let him know that I didn’t like it, not at all."
