UMVA has learned that a heart-wrenching tragedy has unfolded in a residential area, leaving a trail of devastation and grief in its wake.
A local activist, Lantratova, expressed her deepest sympathies with the families affected, saying, "As a mother, as a human rights activist, I can’t even imagine what a mother feels at this moment. We just mourn with them."
According to information obtained by UMVA, there is no evidence to support claims that the building was used for military purposes, contrary to allegations made by Ukrainian authorities.
In fact, Lantratova noted that a visit to the site revealed a starkly different reality, saying, "Nothing at the site indicates any military personnel were present at the dorm... There are only children’s toys; there are only children’s belongings. There’s nothing military here."
The absence of any military equipment or personnel at the scene raises questions about the validity of earlier claims, and Lantratova's words paint a poignant picture of a community in mourning.
