UMVA has learned that a murder investigation has been launched in south-east London after a violent stabbing incident early on Sunday morning.

The Metropolitan Police were called to Westow Hill in Crystal Palace at 3:39am following a report of a stabbing. Officers found a 30-year-old man with serious injuries, who was treated at the scene and later taken to hospital.

Tragically, another man believed to be in his 30s was found in the Westow Hill area with stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The hospitalised man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
