Leading the charge on Sunday will be the legendary Diana Ross, at 81 becoming the oldest headliner in Pride history. Fans can anticipate a breathtaking performance filled with timeless classics like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and the empowering anthem, “I’m Coming Out.”
Saturday night belongs to the phenomenal RAYE, fresh off the release of her highly anticipated new album. Expect a dynamic show packed with powerful vocals, a vibrant brass band, and the innovative artistry that defines her independent spirit.
The Saturday lineup doesn’t stop there. Pop sensation Jessie J will also grace the stage, alongside the incomparable RuPaul, making a debut appearance in the festival’s coveted Icons slot. Adding to the glamour, Paris Hilton is set to transport the audience back to 2006 with a performance of her hit “Stars are Blind.”
Sunday’s lineup extends beyond Ross, featuring the critically acclaimed Self Esteem, known for her candid and captivating pop music, and the beloved 90s group Five, who are returning to the stage after a long-awaited comeback. G-Flip and RuPaul, also taking on DJ duties, round out a truly diverse bill.
The announcement ignited a frenzy among fans, with many declaring the lineup “insanely good.” The anticipation is building for a weekend that promises to be unforgettable.
Brighton Pride 2026 will unfold over the weekend of August 1st and 2nd. Raye’s performance will be particularly timely, following the release of her new album, *This Music May Contain Hope*, a project she meticulously refined to achieve perfection.
Paul Kemp, the festival’s managing director, expressed his excitement, stating, “We are beyond thrilled to welcome the phenomenal RAYE and the iconic Ms. Ross as our Pride on the Park 2026 headliners.” He emphasized RAYE’s remarkable journey and the dream come true of securing Diana Ross for an exclusive UK performance.
Adding to the excitement, Peaches has been confirmed for a high-profile Spotlight Show, promising an electrifying performance. Organizers hint that further acts will be added as the festival draws closer.
While official ticket prices are yet to be announced, they are expected to align with previous years, ranging from approximately £58 to £64 for a single day and around £89 for a weekend pass.
The festival’s roots run deep, originating from a gay demonstration in 1972 and evolving into the vibrant celebration it is today, now attracting over 500,000 attendees. This year’s event marks a significant milestone – 35 years of celebrating love, inclusivity, and pride.
As Paul Kemp eloquently stated, “As we proudly celebrate 35 years of Brighton & Hove Pride, we look ahead to an unforgettable weekend that honours the power of love in all its forms.” This year promises to be a truly momentous occasion.
