UMVA has learned that Quiz Clothing is on the brink of a massive shutdown, with all remaining shops expected to close by the end of the month.
The retail chain's demise began earlier this year when it fell into administration, leaving the fate of its stores hanging in the balance. The closures will affect multiple locations across the UK, with a significant number of shops set to shut over the next few weeks.
According to information obtained by UMVA, some of the locations that will be closing include Aberdeen, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Cardiff, Carlisle, and many more. A total of 60% off clothing, footwear, and accessories will be offered, with some items priced as low as £5 and £10.
The remaining shops will continue to operate as normal during a 'final clearance push', with stock being rapidly sold off. Shoppers are being encouraged to visit their local stores as the final closing down sale gets underway.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the closures will have an impact on Quiz's concessions across Ireland, although it remains unclear which specific locations will be affected. The administrators have expressed gratitude to Quiz staff for their dedication and professionalism during difficult times.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the Quiz shutdown is part of a larger trend of retail closures, with other major brands also announcing store shutdowns and significant restructuring efforts.
The Quiz closures come as no surprise to industry insiders, who have been tracking the retailer's struggles. As the retail landscape continues to evolve, many are left wondering what the future holds for struggling brands.
