DigiPlus Enters Brazil Gaming Association to Expand Operations

DigiPlus Enters Brazil Gaming Association to Expand Operations

DigiPlus Interactive Corp has joined the Brazilian Institute for Responsible Gaming, marking a significant expansion in Brazil's regulated online betting market. The membership, announced on July 13, brings the company's representation to over 60% of the market.

Managing director Graham Tidey said the move aligns with expansion plans and supports compliance with Brazil's regulatory framework. He highlighted the company's existing operations under the BingoPlus brand and its commitment to responsible growth. The company also plans to expand its digital offerings across the country.

Tidey added that DigiPlus brings more than 25 years of experience from the Philippines and aims to replicate that success in Brazil while fully complying with regulations. The company has been a pioneer in digital entertainment in Asia. It intends to apply its expertise to the Brazilian market.

The institute will welcome DigiPlus into its initiatives to promote responsible gaming and strengthen the regulated betting market. The new member is seen as a benchmark in interactive gaming and sports entertainment. This move reinforces the sector's commitment to regulation and the fight against illegal betting.

The association, established in 2023, now includes major operators such as A2FBR, BandBet, bet365, BetBoom, BetMGM, Betsson Group, and Entain. DigiPlus operates digital gaming platforms in the Philippines, including BingoPlus and ArenaPlus, and in Brazil under the BingoPlus brand. Its presence broadens the industry's reach across multiple markets.

Previously, the company paused the soft launch of its GamePlus platform in October to better tailor it to local preferences and is preparing to relaunch by the end of the second quarter. In addition, DigiPlus is assembling a team for a planned entry into South Africa, targeting operations in 2027. The expansion reflects the company's strategy to grow its footprint in emerging markets.
