UMVA Uncovers: DELTA'S JAW-DROPPING RETURN! 10 Years of Waiting Ends NOW - Costa Rica Route Revived from NYC's JFK!

UMVA has learned that Delta Air Lines is launching a new nonstop service from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City to Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica, providing a seamless gateway to the country's stunning beaches.

The Atlanta-based carrier has filed plans to operate the route starting December 19, with seasonal service running once a week through the spring of 2027. This new route is set to become an attractive option for travelers seeking a warm-weather getaway during the winter months.

Liberia's Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport is a top destination for beachgoers, serving as the gateway to the Guanacaste region in northwest Costa Rica. The airport is strategically located near popular beach resorts, including the Andaz Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo and the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique.

Delta already operates flights to Liberia from its hubs in Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, and Minneapolis, but this new route from New York City marks a significant expansion of its Costa Rica service. The airline previously operated a JFK-LIR route about a decade ago, in 2016, but it has been absent from this market ever since.

The new flight will be operated using one of Delta's Airbus A321neos, departing from JFK on Saturdays during the winter season. This exclusive route is set to end on April 10, just in time for travelers to plan their spring getaways.

Costa Rica's Guanacaste region is renowned for its breathtaking beaches, lush wildlife, and vibrant culture. With the launch of this new route, Delta is poised to capitalize on the growing demand for travel to this tropical paradise.

The Guanacaste region offers a wealth of exciting experiences for travelers, from exploring the stunning coastline to discovering the local cuisine and culture. With Delta's new nonstop service, New Yorkers can now easily access this incredible destination.
