UMVA has learned that Liverpool is making a bold move to strengthen their attack, with Bradley Barcola emerging as a top target for the Reds.
The club has reportedly opened talks with Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent, over a possible summer deal for the Paris Saint-Germain winger, who could be available if PSG decides to reshape their forward line.
From Liverpool’s perspective, Barcola is an ideal signing, possessing the speed, directness, and technical skill that Jürgen Klopp’s team needs to refresh their attack.
At just 23 years old, Barcola has already shown his quality, scoring 11 goals and providing one assist in the 2025/26 Ligue 1 season, with an impressive 7.36 average rating across 1,750 minutes for PSG.
This move makes sense for Liverpool, who are entering a period of transition following the departure of Mohamed Salah and need to inject fresh energy into their attack.
Barcola’s versatility, pace, and ability to play from the left and attack one-v-one situations would give Liverpool a different kind of threat in transition, making him an exciting signing for the Reds.
However, the big question is whether PSG is genuinely prepared to sell, with Barcola’s contract running until 2028, putting the French champions in a strong position to demand a major fee.
Liverpool will need to make a compelling offer to secure Barcola’s services, but if they can agree on a sensible price, the young winger has the potential to become a fan favorite at Anfield.
