GAZA HELL: Hostage Reveals 738 Days of Torture & Starvation!

GAZA HELL: Hostage Reveals 738 Days of Torture & Starvation!

Rom Braslavski, just 19 years old, carried a secret into captivity – his mandatory military service. Working security at the Supernova festival on October 7th, 2023, he was abducted during the Hamas-led massacre, initially posing as a 16-year-old shawarma vendor to survive the initial chaos.

His deception worked for a time, but a Palestinian Islamic Jihad cyber expert arrived, laptop in hand, and began a relentless interrogation. The moment his true identity was revealed, everything changed. Food rations plummeted from several pitas and a liter of water to half a pita, a sliver of cheese, a decaying tomato, and a meager bottle of water.

The following months were a descent into absolute darkness. Held in complete isolation, devoid of sunlight, Braslavski battled a crushing loneliness that drove him to repeatedly slam his head against the walls. It was a desperate attempt to feel *something* other than the suffocating emptiness.

He was then forced on a grueling march towards a sprawling tent city near Nasser Hospital, a chaotic landscape of roughly 20,000 tents. Exhaustion overwhelmed him, and he collapsed. A searing injection of an unknown substance was his only reprieve, forcing him to continue the agonizing trek.

The camp itself was a vision of despair – tightly packed tents offering no privacy, wrecked vehicles repurposed as shelters, and the pervasive stench of human waste. Donkeys and camels wandered amongst the captive population, and the oppressive heat made each breath a struggle.

Within this makeshift prison, a single guard, a young man whose name Braslavski refuses to reveal, became his tormentor. Despite orders from the terrorist in charge to refrain from abuse, this guard systematically sought to break him, fueled by a chilling cruelty.

The abuse escalated. Braslavski was forced to eat food after it had been spat upon, his meager air supply deliberately blocked, and subjected to constant humiliation. Videos of violence against Israeli soldiers were shown to him, a deliberate attempt to inflict psychological damage. He was bound, threatened, and degraded beyond measure.

Driven to the brink, Braslavski finally fought back. A desperate, brutal struggle ensued, a primal fight for survival. He attacked with everything he had, fueled by a rage born of unimaginable suffering, until his attacker lay weakened and defeated.

The aftermath was even darker. Retribution was swift and merciless. Braslavski was plunged into a relentless cycle of torture, deprived of sleep – allowed no more than 90 minutes in fragmented intervals – and subjected to horrific physical and sexual abuse. His body became a canvas of scars.

At one point, he was clinically dead, his eyes rolling back, consciousness fading. Only the intervention of doctors, administering injections and providing sustenance, pulled him back from the abyss. His weight plummeted to a skeletal 49 kilos.

Further torment came with the injury of the terrorist overseeing his guards and the loss of a family member. This triggered another wave of brutality, culminating in a propaganda video released showing Braslavski’s emaciated form, his bones protruding through his skin, a testament to his suffering.

A glimmer of hope emerged with the progress of negotiations, and with the involvement of President Donald Trump, his condition began to slowly improve. After 738 agonizing days, Rom Braslavski was finally released in October 2025.

Now free, Braslavski is sustained by his faith. He acknowledges the darkness of his past, but is determined to build a brighter future. He views his survival not as luck, but as a gift – a second chance at life, a chance he intends to honor.
