The online presence of popular YouTube couple Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes has been noticeably absent for several months, sparking concerns among their devoted fan base.
The couple, who have been together since 2012 and built an empire from social media, has not posted on their usual platforms since Zoe's final post during the festive period, and Alfie's last update was in April.
Zoe, 36, and Alfie, 32, are proud parents to two young daughters, Ottie, four, and Novie, two, and have been known for sharing every aspect of their lives with fans through daily vlogs and brand campaigns.
A recent update has revealed that the couple has been busy building a donkey sanctuary at their £1,700,000 home in West Sussex, which has led to a local planning dispute in their quiet village.
According to local planning documents, Alfie has submitted a planning application to build a tractor parking area, a donkey enclosure and stable, a wildlife pond, and three shepherd huts on a five-acre plot of land adjacent to their home.
However, the application has faced opposition from some local residents, who argue that the development will cause safety hazards and disrupt the area with heavy vehicles and new access gates.
Despite the controversy, Alfie's planning agent has reassured that the shepherd huts will not be used for residential or Airbnb purposes, but instead for storing equipment and serving as a daytime rest room by the wildlife pond.
The project has received support from some neighbours, who see it as a sustainable return to the land's historical agricultural roots and a genuine ecological asset.
While Zoe's social media absence remains unexplained, the news has reassured fans that the couple is doing well and focusing on their family and new project.
