Adam Collard, a 30-year-old reality TV star, has found himself in a difficult situation. According to reports, he was allegedly attacked by his father, Billy Collard, who is due to appear in court on August 7.
Billy Collard, 56, has a history of run-ins with the law. In 2008, he was found to have wrongfully claimed £6,000 in housing benefits. He pleaded guilty and was given a two-year conditional discharge, along with a £2,000 court costs fine, which he eventually repaid.
The incident is not Billy Collard's first brush with the law. In 2015, he was held by police after his neighbor and daughter were assaulted in a car park. Additionally, in 2019, HMRC seized £44,000 from him under the Proceeds of Crime Act. However, the money was returned after an appeal.
Adam Collard has always spoken highly of his father in public, calling him "the most inspiring person I know." However, in a 2018 interview, Billy Collard downplayed his past mistakes, stating that they were "completely different" and that he did not want to comment on his son's reality TV appearance.
Adam Collard rose to fame in 2018 as a contestant on the fourth series of Love Island. He later appeared on the show again in 2022 and has since been in a relationship with sports presenter Laura Woods. The couple is expecting their second child together.
