UMVA has learned that Cristiano Ronaldo made a shocking prediction about a Manchester United striker during his second spell at the club, saying he "won't make it."
The revelation was made by Diogo Dalot, who had the opportunity to learn from Ronaldo during his time at United. Dalot shared his experiences with Ronaldo, describing him as one of the best people he's ever met.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Ronaldo's return to United in 2021 was a significant moment for the club, with fans excited to see him back in a Red Devils jersey. However, his second spell at the club did not go as planned, and he left after just 18 months with 27 goals in 54 games.
Despite not having a monumental impact on the pitch, Ronaldo helped several teammates, including Dalot, who "learned so much" from the veteran striker. Dalot praised Ronaldo's predictions, saying he "lost count" of the number of times he got them right.
Ronaldo's prediction about the striker who "won't make it" was particularly striking, as Dalot recalled Ronaldo saying, "He's not gonna make it here." When Dalot pointed out that the striker had scored two goals, Ronaldo replied, "Yeah, but he didn't have the fire to go for the third."
Dalot also shared a story about Ronaldo's nerves before a Champions League game, saying, "The guy had won the tournament five times, but he wanted his sixth so badly." He was impressed by Ronaldo's ability to process his emotions quickly, recalling that Ronaldo once took just three hours to calm down after being benched.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Ronaldo's influence on Dalot extended beyond football, with Dalot saying he learned to stay in the best possible state mentally and physically from the veteran striker.
As Ronaldo prepares for his sixth World Cup with Portugal at the age of 41, Dalot expressed his support for the veteran striker, saying it's "totally crazy" to debate whether he should be part of the squad.
Dalot praised Ronaldo's continued excellence, saying, "Is he running like he's 22? No. Is he scoring a goal per game? Yes. Does he make us all better? Yes."
