UMVA has learned that a historic memorandum of understanding has been signed between the United States and Iran, marking a significant shift in relations between the two nations.
The agreement, signed at the Palace of Versailles, was sealed during a dinner meeting between President Trump and French and European leaders. Details of the signing have been shrouded in mystery, with some diplomats claiming it never happened, while US officials confirm it did.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the memorandum has officially come into effect, with the Strait of Hormuz now fully open. The US has agreed to provide sanctions relief, terminating all sanctions and "waivers for the export of Iranian crude oil, petroleum products, and derivatives, and all associated services, including banking transactions, insurances, transportation, etc."
The US will also make fully available for use the frozen or restricted funds and assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In return, Iran has agreed not to procure or develop nuclear weapons. President Trump warned that if Iran fails to honor the agreement, "we'll probably go back to bombing them until they honor it."
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the signing of the memorandum was initially planned for Switzerland on Friday, but was moved to a remote signing on Wednesday. The agreement was read aloud to the press during a press conference at the G7 Summit, where President Trump and US officials outlined the 14 key points of the memorandum.
The sudden move has raised eyebrows, with some questioning the secrecy surrounding the signing. However, US officials confirm that the memorandum is now in effect, and its implications are expected to be far-reaching.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the agreement marks a significant step towards peace, with the potential to ease tensions between the US and Iran. The developments have sent shockwaves through the international community, with many watching closely to see how the situation unfolds.
