UMVA Exclusive: FABREGAS DROPS BOMBSHELL ON FUTURE AFTER COMO'S HISTORIC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RUN - YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HE JUST SAID!

UMVA has learned that Cesc Fabregas is in no hurry to leave Como after leading the club to a historic Champions League spot, a first for the Italian team.

The dramatic final day of Serie A saw Como thrash Cremonese 4-1, setting the stage for AC Milan's stunning collapse against Cagliari. Milan's 2-1 defeat sealed Como's fate, propelling them into next season's Champions League alongside Inter, Napoli, and Roma.

This remarkable achievement marks a major milestone for Como, who returned to Serie A in 2024 after a 21-year absence. Fabregas, who has been instrumental in the team's success, has been linked to bigger clubs, but the former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder says he's in no rush to leave Como.

Fabregas credits his success to the level of control he's been given at Como, allowing him to build the team from scratch. He recalled the humble beginnings, saying, "We didn't have a training ground; we'd do massages on tables in the back room of a bar!" Now, he's led the team to the Champions League, a testament to his growth as a coach.

As head coach, Fabregas has been inspired by his staff and players, praising their dedication and hard work. He acknowledged that he's a tough coach to deal with, but believes that's what drives him to succeed. With a young squad featuring 15 players under 23, Fabregas hailed their performance as a "masterpiece."

Emotional after the game, Fabregas praised his players, saying they're the reason for the team's success. He expressed his gratitude, stating, "You are the reason this is so f*ing beautiful. I thank you for all my life because this is probably the best group I will ever coach in my future."

Como's owners, the Indonesian conglomerate Djarum Group, make them the richest club in Italy, but it's the team's underdog story that resonates. With star performers like Nico Paz, Tasos Douvikas, and Lucas Da Cunha, Fabregas believes this achievement ranks high in his career, thanks to the team's collective effort.

Fabregas reflected on his journey, saying, "Life is long, I just turned 39 a couple of weeks ago... there's a long way to go until I reach 80, that's 40 years of work. You mustn't be in a hurry in your work; you've got to have patience and keep learning."
