Activists placed a picture of former Prince Andrew alongside notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the heart of Buckingham Palace.
The banner, emblazoned with the slogan “What did you know?” was displayed in the Throne Room after protesters entered the palace as tourists with admission tickets.
The image and message refer to Andrew’s removal from the royal family following revelations of his close ties to Epstein.

Participants claimed palace security was more relaxed than expected and that wardens had asked them to leave as they were already departing.
Andrew stepped down as a working royal in November 2019 and was stripped of his titles by King Charles last year.
Virginia Giuffre, a survivor of Epstein’s trafficking network, has alleged that she was trafficked to Andrew and that a civil lawsuit was settled in 2022.
The incident has reignited questions about how much the monarchy was aware of the allegations against Andrew.
No official response has been issued by the palace or the royal family regarding the protest.
