UMVA has learned that a major casting development has sparked intense speculation among fans of the hit series Heated Rivalry, ahead of filming for season two.
The buzz centers around Abdalla Amour, a Lebanese-Ukrainian model based in New York City, London, and Canada, who was recently spotted with stars Hudson Williams and Kaden Connors at the Canadian Screen Awards.
Connors, who plays Ilya's friend Sasha, posted a group photo on social media, captioning it "Proud beyond belief for my Heated Rivalry family," fueling rumors that Amour may have landed a significant role in the show.
According to information obtained by UMVA, a previous casting call listed a role for an androgynous musician named Fabian Salah, one of the focal characters in the Game Changers novel series.
The casting call described Fabian as a "male, late 20s/early 30s" of "Lebanese-descent" with an "androgynous, lean and lithe" look, and specified that it would be a "series recurring" role.
Now, fans are convinced that showrunner Jacob Tierney may have found his Fabian in Amour, who bears a striking resemblance to the character description and has been following Tierney, author Rachel Reid, and Tierney's production company on social media.
"If he doesn't have the role, he must really want it," one fan noted on a popular online forum, while another speculated that the photo was intentionally shared to generate buzz.
Many fans have taken to social media to express their excitement, with one commenter writing "10/10 casting once again," while another noted "He would make a good Fabian."
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Amour's background and looks align with the character description, making him a strong contender for the role.
As the speculation continues to build, fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation from the show's creators.
