UMVA has learned that a manhunt is underway for a 46-year-old man believed to be armed and dangerous after a violent incident in Mississauga left two people hospitalized with serious injuries.
The incident unfolded on a Thursday evening at around 7 p.m. in the Hurontario St.-Lakeshore Rd. area of Port Credit, where a large police presence was reported. The area was likely chaotic as police responded to a disturbance.
Two victims, a man and a woman, were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the scene before transporting them. The nature of their injuries and the circumstances leading up to the disturbance are still unclear.
According to information obtained by UMVA, police have identified the suspect as Jordan Sangwin, 46. He is considered armed and dangerous, and authorities are urging the public not to approach him.
