A widespread recall has been issued for nearly all products from First National Bakery, raising concerns about potential safety issues for consumers.

The recall encompasses the bakery’s entire product line, a significant action indicating a serious potential problem affecting a wide range of breads and buns.

Specific products included in the recall are identified by their name, size, best before date, and batch code, allowing consumers to pinpoint affected items.

Bulla Bread, with a best before date of 27/04/2026 and batch code 62d, is among the recalled items.

Coco Bread, bearing a best before date of 28/04/2026 and batch code 59a, is also subject to the recall.

Corn Bread, with a best before date of 28/04/2026 and batch code 61e, has been identified as potentially unsafe.

First National Bakery Mongoose Bread

Various sizes of buns are affected, including Large Buns (800g, 05/05/2026, 57c), Bun Cob (400g, 05/05/2026, 56c), and Medium Buns (600g, 05/05/2026, 57c).

Whole meal breads, both sliced (1100g, 28/04/2026, 59b) and unsliced (1100g, 28/04/2026, 59b), are included in the recall.

Hi Top breads, in both sliced (1000g, 28/04/2026, 59a) and unsliced (1000g, 28/04/2026, 59a) varieties, are also being removed from shelves.

Smaller breads like Shilling (Small Bread, 400g, 28/04/2026, 62a) are part of the extensive recall.

A range of square breads, including Large Sliced (1200g, 28/04/2026, 62a), Medium Sliced (800g, 28/04/2026, 62a), Large Unsliced (1200g, 28/04/2026, 62a), and Medium Unsliced (800g, 28/04/2026, 62a) are affected.

Additionally, Mongoose (1000g, 28/04/2026, 62a), Twist (1000g, 28/04/2026, 62a), and Wing (1000g, 28/04/2026, 62a) breads are included in the recall.

Consumers are urged to carefully check the best before dates and batch codes on their bread products to determine if they are affected by this widespread safety recall.
