UMVA has learned that Liverpool is actively scouting top talent to bolster their flanks, with two exciting prospects emerging as potential targets: Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig and Bradley Barcola from PSG.
The Reds are reportedly keeping a close eye on both players, with Barcola being discussed regularly in internal meetings. A move for the 23-year-old could materialize in the coming weeks, as Liverpool seeks to add another top-quality attacker to their squad.
Liverpool's need for quality on the flanks is no secret, particularly after signing Victor Munoz from Osasuna. The club is eager to bring in a talented winger who can make an immediate impact, and both Diomande and Barcola have caught their attention.
Diomande, however, may prove to be a costly acquisition, with a €100 million offer already rejected by RB Leipzig. In contrast, Barcola could be a more reasonable option, as he needs to leave PSG to secure regular playing time.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that Liverpool has already sent an official bid for Diomande, with discussions ongoing with Leipzig and the player's agents. Meanwhile, interest in Barcola is driven by an internal feeling that he could be a great fit for the team.
Barcola has consistently impressed for his country and at PSG in the Champions League, showcasing his ability to succeed in the Premier League. With 20 goal contributions last season, he could be an excellent long-term investment for Liverpool, and the opportunity to play regularly may be too enticing to resist.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that Liverpool's interest in Barcola is not new, with the club having expressed admiration for the player as far back as summer 2025. With internal discussions about Barcola happening every week, it's clear that he is a player Liverpool loves and wants to bring to Anfield.
