The daily minimum wage in Metro Manila will rise to PHP 780 by January 2027 after a regional wage board approved an incremental increase of PHP 85 in two phases.
The first tranche, a PHP 60 rise, took effect on July 19, bringing nonagricultural workers’ wages from PHP 695 to PHP 755. The second tranche, a PHP 25 increase, will be applied in January, reaching PHP 780. For agricultural workers and employees in retail, service, and small manufacturing establishments, the wage will climb from PHP 658 to PHP 743.
