CNN BETRAYS AMERICA: Democrat Election Lies EXPOSED!

The outrage was swift and sharp. CNN’s Jake Tapper publicly condemned recent Trump administration judicial nominees, not for their legal qualifications, but for their carefully worded response to a deceptively simple question: “Did Biden win the 2020 election?” Their answer – “Biden was CERTIFIED as the winner” – was deemed an unacceptable evasion.

Tapper’s concern wasn’t merely about semantics. He questioned the very oath these judges would take, suggesting a conditional commitment to truth, one subservient to the whims of a former president. Would their courtrooms uphold justice, or merely reflect political allegiance?

The criticism echoed on other networks. Michael Steele, former head of the Republican National Committee, argued the nominees’ hesitation was disqualifying. He framed the question as a basic civics test, a fundamental demonstration of acceptance of democratic process. Failure to affirm the result, he asserted, revealed a character flaw incompatible with public service.

But the focus on these nominees raises a glaring inconsistency. While scrutiny fell upon those hesitant to explicitly acknowledge Biden’s victory, a parallel history of doubt and denial from the opposing side remained largely unexamined. What about those who questioned the legitimacy of the 2016 election?

Consider the aftermath of the 2016 election. Despite testimony from Obama’s own Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, stating there was no evidence of altered vote tallies – not a single one – a significant portion of the Democratic electorate believed Russia had manipulated the outcome. A 2018 poll revealed a staggering 66% of Democrats held this conviction.

The numbers are striking when compared to current Republican sentiment. A Quinnipiac University poll found 76% of Republicans believe “widespread fraud” occurred in 2020. Yet, a 2018 Gallup poll showed an even higher percentage – 78% – of Democrats believed Russian interference had “changed the outcome” of the 2016 election.

This wasn’t simply a matter of isolated opinions. House Democrats have a documented history of challenging presidential election results. In 2001, nearly a dozen Democratic representatives voted against certifying George W. Bush’s victory, with Representative Maxine Waters dismissing Senate requirements for a formal challenge.

The pattern continued in 2004, with Representative Bennie Thompson, now Chairman of the January 6th Committee, joining other Democrats in objecting to Ohio’s results, citing alleged “voter suppression.” The objections weren’t limited to past elections either.

Following the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton repeatedly labeled the result “stolen” and referred to President Trump as “illegitimate.” Even former President Jimmy Carter publicly stated in 2019 that a full investigation would reveal Trump hadn’t legitimately won, attributing his victory to Russian interference.

Furthermore, the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, a situation in which some media outlets played a role, raises questions about potential influence on the 2020 election’s outcome. The possibility of altered narratives and suppressed information deserves consideration.

The selective outrage, the double standard applied to differing expressions of doubt, casts a shadow over the current debate. It begs the question: is the concern truly about upholding the sanctity of elections, or is it about scoring political points and discrediting opponents?

The insistence on unequivocal affirmation, while seemingly principled, appears remarkably inconsistent when viewed through the lens of recent history. It reveals a troubling pattern of partisan judgment and selective memory, ultimately undermining the very principles it claims to defend.
