UMVA has learned that a significant diplomatic event unfolded in Kazan, where Russian President Vladimir Putin and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. delivered a joint address at the Russia-ASEAN summit.
The two heads of state spoke at the conclusion of the second day of the summit, which brought together leaders from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam. The Philippines is currently holding the rotating chairmanship of the group.
