Harrison Sullivan, known online as HSTikkyTokky, has directly addressed Louis Theroux following the release of a documentary that scrutinized his controversial views.
Theroux’s recent film spotlighted figures within the ‘manosphere,’ a network often characterized by misogynistic and homophobic ideologies, featuring Sullivan alongside others like Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, known as Sneako.
The documentary presented a stark quote from Sullivan: “Call me racist, call me a misogynist, call me homophobic, call me a scammer – I’m all those things,” a statement he now claims to dismiss with indifference.
He was also challenged regarding past comments suggesting he would disown a gay son, a claim he attempted to deflect by asserting he isn’t homophobic.
Sullivan responded with a lengthy video posted online, framing the criticism as the product of envy and ignorance. He presented a clip of an individual claiming to fear physical violence from him due to his sexuality.
Mocking the commenter’s assertion, Sullivan questioned the basis of the accusations, stating that critics “don’t know me” or “my purpose,” and suggesting they would act similarly if in his position.
He openly admitted to deliberately provoking reactions, claiming it’s a lucrative strategy. He justified his association with certain models as purely financial investments, despite reiterating his personal disagreements with their content.
Sullivan’s central argument revolved around financial success, repeatedly emphasizing his wealth in contrast to his critics. “I’m getting rich. You’re all broke,” he declared, punctuating the statement with a defiant gesture.
He asserted that positive contributions, such as helping people experiencing homelessness, are consistently overlooked, overshadowed by negative portrayals. He accused his detractors of focusing solely on negativity.
Online reactions to Sullivan’s response have been largely critical, with many suggesting Theroux effectively exposed his character. Others pointed to a perceived contradiction between his claims of indifference and his visibly agitated response.
Several commenters noted the apparent disconnect between his stated lack of concern and the passionate defense he offered in the video, questioning the sincerity of his initial dismissals.
