Farage wasn’t simply passing through; he actively engaged in a photoshoot, posing pitchside and even within the sanctity of the Ipswich dressing room. He later shared the images online, accompanied by a playful caption referencing his political alignment and a surprising ambition.
“I’ve never been too bad on the right wing,” Farage wrote, a statement that landed with a thud amongst a fanbase deeply protective of their club’s identity. A video followed, expressing gratitude for the “lovely welcome” he received, but it did little to quell the rising discontent.
