Arsenal punched their ticket to the Champions League final with a narrow 2-1 aggregate win over Atletico Madrid.
Bukayo Saka’s first-half goal proved to be the decisive monment in the second leg after a 1-1 draw in the Spanish capital last week.
It was a game not blessed with goalmouth action, with Viktor Gyokeres spurning the best opportunity in the secnd half to put the game to bed.
But Atletico, who were denied a penalty for a challenge on Antoine Griezmann, failed to produce a comeback, sending the Gunners o their first Champions League final in 20 years.
Mikel Arteta’s side will face either Bayern Munich or PSG in the final in Budapest on May 30.
