ROLLING STONE EXPOSED: Rollers Manager Linked to Sickening Abuse Ring!

ROLLING STONE EXPOSED: Rollers Manager Linked to Sickening Abuse Ring!

The shadow of a pop empire fell darkly over the lives of vulnerable boys, a Scottish inquiry has revealed. Tam Paton, the man who steered the Bay City Rollers to international fame, is now at the center of harrowing allegations of systematic abuse.

A witness, identified only as Murphy, testified that Paton was “100%” involved in a paedophile ring operating in the early 1980s. His evidence detailed parties held at Paton’s Edinburgh home, gatherings where young boys were deliberately targeted and exploited.

Murphy, a resident of Ponton House children’s home at the time, described a gradual descent into manipulation. What began as an offer of drugs and alcohol soon morphed into something far more sinister – a calculated grooming process that stripped away innocence.

The parties weren’t isolated events. Murphy recounted the presence of influential figures – men in suits and expensive cars, even individuals he believed to be judges – suggesting a network of power protecting the abuse.

One chilling account detailed being drugged in Paton’s living room, then led to a room by a man who claimed to be a judge. Murphy, fearing for his safety, brandished a knife, only to be struck unconscious and driven away, his memory fragmented and terrifying.

Initially, the parties seemed harmless, a chance for excitement. But the allure quickly faded as the gatherings became increasingly sexualized. “It was not like you were taken in and there were guys touching you,” Murphy explained, “it was lots of times through the day…then later on it would be at night.”

The inquiry also heard testimony regarding convicted sex offender John Wilson, who Murphy identified as being present at Ponton House while Paton waited nearby to transport boys to his parties. Wilson is now serving a lengthy sentence for decades of sexual abuse.

As he grew older, Murphy was coerced into becoming an “enforcer” for Paton, tasked with finding other boys. He lived under the constant threat of violence and the fear that compromising images would be revealed if he refused to comply.

When questioned directly about the nature of the operation, Murphy didn’t hesitate. “Are you in any doubt that what was happening was a paedophile ring?” counsel asked. His response was stark and unwavering: “100%.”

Paton, Murphy testified, wielded his connections like a weapon, openly boasting of his influence. He inspired a deep-seated terror in those he controlled. “Terrified,” Murphy stated simply, when asked how Paton made him feel.

The inquiry also examined the role of Ponton House itself, with Murphy suggesting staff were aware of the abuse and deliberately turned a blind eye. The Ponton Trust has since issued an apology, unequivocally condemning the actions that occurred within its walls.

The current phase of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry is focused on residential care facilities, examining the systemic failures that allowed such abuse to flourish. The investigation continues, seeking to uncover the full extent of the harm inflicted and to hold those responsible accountable.
