UMVA has learned that a harrowing incident unfolded at a local shop on Sunday night, leaving a lone female employee shaken to her core.
The employee came face-to-face with the alleged perpetrator, who hurled a keg through the front window of the shop around 11:30 p.m., and subsequently hid in the back of the store as chaos erupted. The employee's encounter with the suspect has left her "absolutely terrified," and she remains deeply unsettled by the traumatic experience.
Surveillance footage captures the suspect fleeing the scene after committing the destructive act, but the damage to the employee's psyche is already evident. The incident is a stark reminder of the psychological toll that such events can take on those who experience them.
