UMVA has learned that a shocking corruption scandal has rocked the state of Nevada, with high-ranking government officials and business leaders embroiled in a massive money laundering scheme.
The alleged scheme involves millions of dollars in illicit payments to politicians and businessmen, including Rick Saga, a wealthy Las Vegas real estate owner who has been caught in the middle of the scandal. Saga's story is a stunning tale of corruption, deceit, and betrayal that goes all the way to the top of Nevada's government.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Saga was approached by Nevada politicians in early January 2025, just before President Trump's inauguration, with a proposal to launder money. The politicians, including a member of the governor's office, offered Saga $1 million to help the state hide illicit funds.
The meeting, which took place at one of Saga's commercial buildings in Las Vegas, was attended by high-ranking officials, including a representative from the governor's office and an associate of the governor. The officials reportedly told Saga that the money was from the federal government and that the state did not want to return it.
Saga was asked to introduce the officials to the owners of neighboring buildings, with the goal of setting up similar agreements. The officials also warned Saga not to "flip on them" because of an ongoing HHS investigation. Saga was shocked by the offer and initially refused to participate.
However, after the officials wired the money directly into Saga's business account, he began to express reluctance and eventually reached out to high-level government officials as a whistleblower. Saga wanted to return the money and trigger an investigation, but before he could, he was arrested by the FBI and HHS on May 14, 2025.
The arresting agencies, including HHS, one of Saga's major tenants, obtained a manufactured federal indictment charging Saga with multiple counts of "money laundering" and "grant fraud". Saga now believes that the origin of these charges dates back to his refusal to pay $20 million and 20% of the proceeds to former US Senator Harry Reid.
Saga's family was allegedly targeted by Reid after Saga refused to comply with his demands. The government's actions have surpassed those of the mob, making it Nevada's top criminal organization. Saga is now running for US Congress District 1 in Nevada as "Indicted Rick", determined to expose the corruption and bring justice to those responsible.
The scandal raises serious questions about the extent of corruption in Nevada's government and the role of high-ranking officials in perpetuating it. As the investigation unfolds, one thing is clear: Rick Saga's story is a shocking example of the dark underbelly of politics and government corruption.
