VICIOUS CYCLE: Baby's Attacker Facing BRUTAL Prison Retribution!

VICIOUS CYCLE: Baby's Attacker Facing BRUTAL Prison Retribution!

Within the stark walls of HMP Berwyn, a brutal attack unfolded in February, leaving one inmate with devastating injuries. Qasim Afzal found himself cornered, the target of a calculated assault by four fellow prisoners.

The attackers stormed Afzal’s cell, unleashing a relentless barrage of kicks and punches. Prosecutor Oliver King described a scene where Afzal had “no escape,” trapped and vulnerable to the escalating violence.

Adding a chilling layer to the assault, the entire incident was deliberately filmed on a mobile phone by one of the perpetrators, Abu-Manahim. The recording wasn’t a spontaneous act, but a key component of a pre-planned operation.

The court revealed a disturbing pattern of criminal behavior among the defendants. Abu-Manahim alone carried a staggering record of 53 convictions across 85 offenses, ranging from battery to robbery and assault on emergency workers.

Hussain’s record included 16 convictions for 33 offenses, encompassing battery, assault, and even possession of a blade. Lloyd faced 21 convictions for 39 offenses, with charges like robbery and making threats to kill looming large.

Khan, while having fewer convictions at four for 12 offenses, was nonetheless implicated in drug-related crimes. The collective history painted a picture of hardened individuals with a propensity for violence.

Judge Petts condemned the attack as a meticulously planned act of punishment, intended not only for Afzal but as a warning to others within the prison population. The filming and planned dissemination via WhatsApp underscored the calculated nature of the crime.

Adding a desperate element to the narrative, Afzal had been warned of the impending attack. Someone, recognizing the danger, had provided him with a makeshift weapon, a futile attempt to level the playing field.

Despite this, Afzal endured nearly a minute of relentless abuse – a brutal combination of kicks, stamps, and blows, compounded by the use of an improvised weapon by his attackers. The judge emphasized that the act of filming held equal culpability to the physical assault itself.

The injuries sustained were described as “severe.” The most catastrophic damage came from a brutal stamp to Afzal’s right testicle, resulting in irreversible damage and the likely need for surgical removal.

Justice was swiftly delivered. Each of the four attackers received an additional two and a half years to their existing prison sentences, effectively delaying their potential release and extending their time under supervision.
