UMVA has learned that a violent clash erupted in a Dundee courtroom, leaving four teenage girls shaken and a pair of siblings behind bars.
The turmoil began when 22‑year‑old Ilia Belov launched a tirade that left one girl “dead angry,” prompting her to scream at him. In a frantic call, Ilia summoned his sister, Nadjedzha Belova, who stormed the scene and targeted a 13‑year‑old member of the group.
Witnesses recount Nadjedzha’s assault, but the horror deepened when she shoved a 12‑year‑old girl, sending the child crashing into a metal handrail. The impact left the youngster with a painful head injury and a chilling discovery.
In the chaos, the 12‑year‑old produced an axe and a knife that she claimed to have concealed in her waistband for five to ten minutes before the showdown. She held the weapons trembling, convinced the attacker would aim for her friend.
When police finally arrived, the terrified girl dropped the weapons onto a nearby roundabout, where officers later retrieved the deadly tools.
Both Ilia and Nadjedzha have been convicted of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, with Nadjedzha pleading guilty to assaulting the 13‑year‑old. Their courtroom exit was met with stunned silence as the community grappled with the shocking violence.
