CRIME SCENE: Gun and drug charges laid against two Toronto men
Firearms, ammo and drugs seized during two search warrants that led to numerous charges against two Toronto men.

Toronto Police have charged two men with numerous charges in a firearms probe.


On Wednesday, Remell Cunningham, 33, was arrested in Scarborough – near Ellesmere Rd. and Morningside Ave.


At the time of his arrest, the accused was allegedly in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun and a schedule I substance.


A search warrant was executed in the Lawrence Ave. and Kingston Rd. area and it’s further alleged a quantity of schedule I substances were located.


Cunningham faces eight firearm-related charges, six counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of proceeds of crime under, and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over.


Another search warrant was executed in the Morningside Ave. and Lawrence Ave. E. area and a second suspect – Jawaun Miller, 19 – was arrested.


It’s alleged that a loaded semi-automatic handgun equipped with an automatic switch (making the handgun fully automatic) was located along with a large quantity of ammunition and a handgun magazine.


Miller was charged with eight firearm-related charges and one of possession of proceeds of crime under.

UNIDENTIFIED MAN SOUGHT FOR TRAFFICKING PROPERTY

Cops need help in identifying an additional suspect sought in a trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5000 investigation.


Toronto Police say they began an investigation involving multiple thefts reported by various retail establishments across the city on Sept. 29.


As a result, a search warrant was executed Monday at a residence in Milton where it’s alleged 1,880 bottles of high-end perfumes and colognes worth approximately $319,000 were seized.


Investigators previously announced the arrest of one suspect and released an image of the seized items.


Issam Ahmad is charged with trafficking in proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime exceeding $5,000, possession of proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 and possession of proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime for trafficking exceeding $5,000.


Investigators are now looking for assistance identifying an additional suspect wanted in relation to multiple fragrance thefts in the Toronto area in connection with this investigation.


 Toronto Police are looking for a second suspect after almost $320,000 in stolen perfume was recovered during a search warrant at a Milton residence (TPS).

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, about six-feet-tall and 180 pounds, with a thin build and a goatee. He is known to wear Adidas Yeezy 700 sneakers.

MAN, 41, ELOPED FROM MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY

Toronto Police is seeking the public’s assistance locating an elopee from a mental health facility.


Ahmed Adburahaman, 41, was last seen on Wednesday at approximately 3 p.m. in the Queen St. W. and Ossington Ave. area.


He’s described as six-feet-tall, with a medium build, short black hair and unshaven. He was last seen wearing a grey and purple hat, black hooded sweater with yellow writing on the sleeve, black pants and black shoes.

He was found not criminally responsible for two counts of aggravated assault.

BOY, 17, CHARGED IN FLAMBOROUGH CRASH

A 17-year-old Hamilton boy faces with five counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.


In addition, Hamilton Police say the accused is also charged with stunt driving, speeding (142 km/h in a 70 km/h zone), two counts of disobeying stop sign, and two counts of driving while a passenger under 16 failed to occupy position with a seat belt.


The charges stem from a collision that occurred on Aug. 26, shortly before 3 p.m., at Valens Rd. and Concession 5 W. in Flamborough, involving a Volvo commercial motor vehicle and a Kia minivan.


The 17-year-old was the driver of the Kia minivan that contained six occupants who were all taken to local hospitals for treatment – one individual continues to recover in hospital.

MAN, 58, FACES ROBBERY CHARGES

Toronto Police have charged Neil Ferguson, 58, of Toronto, with robbery.


Cops say on May 24, 2025, around 11:45 a.m., police responded to a call in the Kipling Ave. and Steeles Ave. W. area after it was alleged a lone male approached a bank teller and produced a note demanding cash before fleeing with a quantity of cash.


The suspect is described as approximately 55-65 years old, approximately 5-foot-7, with long blond curly hair.


On Oct. 6, the suspect was located and arrested and a search warrant was executed in relation to the investigation.


It’s further alleged officers located items of evidentiary value to the investigation.

BOY, 17, CHARGED IN TORONTO HIT-AND-RUN

A 17-year-old has turned himself into police following the report of a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle at Pape and Lipton Aves. last month.


It is reported that a 17-year old male was operating a motor vehicle northbound on Pape Ave. when a 24-year old male pedestrian was crossing Pape from the west side to the east side at the intersection of Lipton Ave. and the motor vehicle allegedly disobeyed a red traffic signal and struck the pedestrian around 8:20 p.m. on Sept. 23.


The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and on Thursday a 17-year-old male youth surrendered to police.


He was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of conveyance causing bodily harm, and failing to stop at scene of accident.

MAN ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

A 40-year-old man is accused of assaulting a Parking Enforcement Officer while armed with a weapon in Scarborough on Thursday.


Toronto Police say officers responded to an assault call in the area of Warden Ave. and Kingston Rd. just after 11:30 a.m.


“It is alleged that the victim, a Parking Enforcement Officer, was conducting enforcement in the area


the PEO was attempting to issue a violation notice when the suspect became upset and assaulted them,” police said in a statement released Thursday.


“At the time of the assault, the suspect was in possession of a weapon,” police alleged, explaining officers arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.


Lubomir Sandor, of Toronto, is charged with obstructing a peace officer, assaulting a peace officer, and possession of a weapon.
