Big Brother betting odds currently have this LGBTQ+ housemate as the favourite to win

Big Brother betting odds currently have this LGBTQ+ housemate as the favourite to win

Big Brother2025 is well underway and there’s been no shortage of drama already, keeping things interesting for the betting odds at least. And one queer housemate is the bookies’ favourite.

The current series started on Sunday 28 September and saw 12 people enter the house. Since then four more people have entered, two people have been evicted and a third,George Gilbert, has been kicked out of the house for“unacceptable language and behaviour.”

Currently topping the bookies’ odds is the fan favourite, Zelah Glasson. When the trans contestant entered the house he won viewers over with a combo of good looks, a warm “spaniel dog”-like personality and a sense of authenticity. He was quickly declared the series’“winner”before it had barely begun!

Zelahcurrently enjoys 13/10 odds onOddschecker. One of the few LGBTQ+ contestants, he’s been praised by viewers for handling an awkward situation when Jenny accidentally‘outed’ him as transto some of the other housemates.

Zelah has also been misgendered by Caroline Monk, who’s hada warningfrom Big Brother andsince apologised. Afterward, Zelah’s mum,Maya Glasson, spoke to local press saying, “he’s always been a winner because of the way he conducts himself. I’m just very proud that other people can see that.”

As well as Zelah, the other LGBTQ+ housemates are the pansexual Scottish gamer Nancy Nocerino, and queer Zumba instructorSam Ashby, from Chipton. Bisexual Dua Lipa fan and Pizza Hut manager,Gani, has already been evicted.

The personal trainer from South London is followed in the ranking of bookies’ favourites by Jenny Baird (11/2). Cameron Kinch comes in third (13/2), Teja Dalphy fourth (10/1, andAshbyin fifth (12/1).

Richard Storrey follows (13/1) withFeyisola Akintoyebehind (20/1), Cameron Barnes, Monk, Elsa Rae, Marcus John, Nancy Nocerino, and Tate Reynolds are all on 33/1.

Before Wednesday (8 October)’s episode, George was removed from the house over “unacceptable language and behaviour.” In a statement, a Big Brother spokesperson confirmed that the parish councillor will no longer be part of the ITV reality show.

The 23-year-old, who had proved divisive for his opinions on so-called transgender “ideology”, homelessness and addiction, received a formal warning from Big Brother earlier this week over his treatment of queer housemate Sam.

The comments that led to George’s removal from the Big Brother house will not be aired, as they too go against broadcasting standards.

George was the most-nominated housemate in this week’s nominations, and was therefore up for eviction on Friday’s (10 October) episode.

Big Brother has confirmed that the eviction will go ahead as planned on Friday, with housemates Richard, Elsa, and Cameron B to face the public vote.

Big Brother continues Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
