
A 52-year-old man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting two young girls while working as a superintendent at a Rexdale building.
Toronto Police say the man was employed as the superintendent of an apartment building in the area of Islington Ave. and Rexdale Blvd. between May 2023 and October 2025.
“It is alleged the man befriended an eight-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl,” police said in a statement released Saturday, adding the man allegedly “sexually assaulted both girls multiple times” between January 2024 and October.
Police claim the man broke into the girls’ apartment and attempted to lure one of the girls out of the apartment” on Tuesday.
Police began investigating on Wednesday and arrested Oscar Campos.
The Toronto man is charged with breaking-and-entering, five counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual interference, two counts of making child pornography, and two counts of possession of child pornography.
He was scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing on Friday.
Investigators have released an image of the accused because they are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims.
