It’s been a weekend of reminiscing and looking forward, as the public mourn losing Tess, 56, and Claudia, 53, from BBC’s flagship show, while thinking about who could replace them.

But after a moment of ‘impeccable timing’ on the ‘Clauditorium’, some Strictly fans think the perfect candidate could be staring them in the face.
La Voix, 45, is performing in this season’s Strictly, with pro partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 35. After Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon’s Saturday night dance, the entertainer ‘stole the show’ with a quip alluding to Claudia and Tess’ imminent departure.

Drag Race UKrunner-up, La Voix, joked: ‘Claudia, while I’ve got you, do you know the address where you send your CV to theBBC?
‘Just in case any new jobs are coming up. Just asking for a friend.’
Claudia laughed in reaction, but admitted: ‘It’s quite soon’.
She went on, pulling La Voix into shot: ‘Give it a go, babe. Let’s do it now.’
In an ‘iconic’ moment, the contestant paused and looked into the camera, before impersonating Claudia handing over to her co-host.
‘Tess’, La Voix said, before Claudia and the contestants around her broke into fits of giggles.
As the camera changed to Tess, she stood with the judges laughing and complemented the entertainer’s delivery: ‘Perfect.’
Users on X joined in with praise for La Voix, with Matthew Rimmer writing: ‘Once again proving their worth as a booking this year.’
Super TV wrote: ‘La Voix stealing the entire show with one single word’.
Rice Kris-pies made his thoughts clear on what the moment showed: ‘La Voix is the perfect Claudia replacement but people are too strung up to admit it.’

She bagged 28 from the judges during Icons Week, with a take on Cher, performing the Salsa to Strong Enough.
