RUSSIA'S SECRET WEAPON: North Korea's Death Squads Unleashed!

RUSSIA'S SECRET WEAPON: North Korea's Death Squads Unleashed!

Newly released video footage reveals a startling development in the conflict: North Korean troops are actively engaged in clearing landmines in Russia’s Kursk region. This deployment marks a significant escalation in the deepening military alliance between Moscow and Pyongyang, a partnership forged amidst intense battlefield pressures.

The footage depicts North Korean soldiers meticulously scanning the war-torn landscape with detection equipment. They receive focused instruction from seasoned Russian engineers, absorbing knowledge with a quiet determination. Before commencing the dangerous work, the soldiers raise their voices in patriotic song, a display of unwavering commitment.

Russian commanders have openly praised the North Korean sappers. One, identified only as “Veles,” described them as “great lads” who learn quickly and demonstrate exceptional attentiveness. Another, “Lesnik,” stated they operate “on an equal level” with Russian specialists, performing the same critical tasks.

This deployment follows fierce fighting last year, where a major Ukrainian incursion threatened to breach the western Kursk region. Reports suggest North Korea dispatched approximately 14,000 troops under a mutual defense agreement, though casualty figures remain unconfirmed and deeply contested.

According to Russian sources, the demining unit was directly ordered into action by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un himself. These engineers arrived with prior experience from missions within their own country, then underwent intensive supplementary training with the Russian Armed Forces.

The footage shows a ritualistic reverence for the North Korean flag before each operation, a symbolic declaration of their readiness to fulfill “any order from the Supreme Leader.” Russian instructors have focused on equipping them to handle advanced weaponry, including NATO and Ukrainian-made mines, and to defend against drone attacks.

North Korean sappers are now utilizing sophisticated Russian robotic demining platforms, such as the Stalker and Uran-6, enhancing their capabilities in the treacherous landscape. The mission’s primary goal is to reduce the risk to Russian personnel navigating the heavily mined terrain.

Ukrainian intelligence estimates suggest around 6,000 North Korean engineers are currently deployed in Russia. However, Ukrainian President Zelensky claims the losses suffered by these troops are staggering, estimating over 4,000 fatalities – a figure that remains independently unverified.

Russian military reports describe a “previously unseen density” of mines left by Ukrainian forces, many manufactured by NATO countries. The situation is particularly acute in the Bolshesoldatsky district, where 37 of 64 settlements remain closed to civilians due to the ongoing threat.

The sappers continue to operate under the constant threat of Ukrainian artillery and drone strikes, adding another layer of danger to an already perilous mission. These reports, however, have not been independently confirmed.

Ukrainian forces launched an offensive into the Kursk region in August, holding territory for months before being pushed back by Russian troops, bolstered by the arrival of North Korean units, as announced by President Putin earlier this year.

Kim Jong Un has publicly affirmed his commitment to continued military cooperation with Russia, promising that the alliance will “advance non-stop,” signaling a potentially long-term strategic shift in the region.
