Yungblud has made the difficult decision to cancel all remaining tour dates for 2025, a choice driven by serious health concerns and a desire to protect his future.
The artist, whose real name is Dom Harrison, revealed the news to fans, explaining that recent medical tests – routine check-ups he typically undergoes while on tour – flagged worrying results in both his voice and bloodwork.
Doctors have ordered a complete break from touring until the end of the year, a directive Yungblud initially wrestled with, admitting his instinct is to push through regardless of personal cost.
However, he ultimately recognized the need to prioritize his well-being, stating he doesn’t want to risk any lasting damage to himself and wants his musical journey to endure.
“My heart is broken,” he confessed, acknowledging the disappointment this will cause his fans, but promising to make it up to them in the future.
Refunds for US tickets are being processed, and Yungblud intends to personally express his gratitude to those affected by sending a gift as a token of apology.
Looking ahead, he plans to organize more accessible and affordable shows in Mexico and Latin America next year, offering fans in those regions an opportunity to experience his music live.
Despite this setback, the Idols World Tour is still scheduled to continue in 2026, with dates already confirmed for the UK in April and North America in May and June.
This news follows a challenging year for the artist, marked by a frightening incident in Paris where he was struck by a car in April.
Adding to the emotional weight, Yungblud also mourned the loss of his close friend and mentor, Ozzy Osbourne, earlier this summer.
Their connection blossomed in 2022, with Osbourne quickly taking Yungblud under his wing, even sharing the stage with him at Osbourne’s final concert.
Yungblud shared that he had been exchanging texts with Osbourne right up until his passing, receiving the devastating news from Jack Osbourne, Ozzy’s son.
